Oleh Malskyy is a Georgetown graduate and admitted to the Bars of New York (Attorney) and Ukraine (Advocate). He is also a graduate of the World Trade Institute (Switzerland) and Lviv National University (Ukraine).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr Malskyy held position of a senior associate with Magisters – one of the major Ukrainian law firms; practiced with UK based Magic Circle law firm Herbert Smith and leading US based law firm WilmerHale in Brussels. On a public side he also served for the Parliament of Ukraine, interned for the Parliament of Canada, European Commission in Brussels and UNCTAD in Geneva.
Mr Malskyy has substantial experience in representing leading national market players, foreign and CIS based blue-chips in various corporate, transactional and competition matters including in such industries as: natural resources, energy and oil & gas, telecommunications, media, pharmaceutical, insurance and financial institutions. Also Oleh has represented numerous clients in a wide range of antitrust and antidumping issues and provided complex legal advice on matters of Ukrainian foreign and international law.
Oleh was named among TOP-3 leading individuals in International Trade Practice by Ukrainian Law Firms: Handbook for Foreign Clients 2010 – a distinctive publication on Ukrainian legal market published by Yuridicheskaya Practika Publishing House.
Mr Malskyy is recognised by Who’s Who Legal CIS 2010 and 2011 as a leading M&A lawyer in Ukraine and was recommended in the field of Antitrust law by Best Lawyers a well-known US based independent list of attorneys.
He is a member of American Bar Association, International Bar Association, Ukrainian Bar Association, American Chamber of Commerce, and European Business Association.
